RE: 2024 Regional Track and Field Championships

Christ Episcopal is happy to serve as the meet host for the Region III B Track and Field Championships at the Christ Episcopal School Track and Field Complex in Covington, Louisiana on Thursday April 25, 2024. Enclosed is information regarding the meet that I would like for you to look at closely and feel free to contact me if you see any problems that we may have over-looked.

Timing will be F.A.T. by Coach Dennis Panepinto/John Mayer with the Crescent City Timing Corp. We will also have several back-up timing systems (Sprint 8), with the F.A.T. times determining the official places.

In heats against time athletes will be assigned to two heats (8/8 the 2nd heat will be the fast heat) based on their times from the district meets. Lane preferences will be:

4-5-3-6-7-2-8-1.

Please bring your pole vaulters weight verification forms with you if they qualify for the competition and remember to inform your throwers that all throwing implements must be weighed and measured before the athletes will be allowed to use them in the competition. Implements will be kept(good/bad) and brought to each of the throwing events. Vaulters will be weighed at the event.

Javelin will throw on surface like the track

Entry Fees: $125.00 per school

Payable to: Christ Episcopal School

Teams will not be allowed to compete if entry fee has not been paid!!!!

Spectators: $7.00 per person to enter the facility.

Coaches must present his/her LHSAA Coaches card and ID
