Online Registration Instructions

General Information

Bus/Van Parking- Team arrival begins at 7:45am. All school vehicles should park in  the football stadium parking lot (adjacent to the Turf Field Lot). 

Admissions- Spectator admission will be as follows: Adults: $6.00 and Students: $3.00

**NOTE** All persons, (participants, coaches, and spectators) must enter through the main entrance gate located at the track. NO person is permitted to enter the facility through any other location other than the main gate.

Participant Seating- All team tents may be placed around the track BUT NOT IN THE  STANDS. 

Concessions- Concession stand will be open. Shirts will also be on sale. T-shirts will be sold for- $15.00 

Spikes- No spikes longer than allowed on the track.  Spikes over will hinder performance and possibly tear the surface as per track manufacturer specifications. 

Blocks- all blocks will be provided by Whitehall High School. 

Trainer- Trainers will be on site 

Throwing events- take place out front of the bus garage. The bus garage is located down the road from the track.

Rules and Regulations  

All contestants must meet P.I.A.A. eligibility requirements. 

No competitor may compete in more than 4 events. Please impress upon your athletes  the importance of reporting to the clerk at the seeding benches in the infield  immediately upon hearing the first call for the event, so that events can be setup  without delaying the meet. Please remind athletes that are involved in field events at  the time of first call for a track event that they ASK THE FIELD EVENT OFFICIAL TO  BE EXCUSED TO REPORT FOR THE RUNNING EVENT. THEY ARE ALSO RESPONSIBLE  FOR REPORTING BACK TO THAT OFFICIAL IMMEDIATELY AFTER THEIR RUNNING  EVENT HAS BEEN COMPLETED.  

In the field events (Shot put, Javelin, Discus, Long, and Triple Jumps) contestants will  be given 3 attempts. The best performance of these 3 attempts will count.

In the high Jump and Pole Vault, a contestant will be eliminated after 3 misses at the  same height.

Opening Heights: Boys PV 10 - Girls PV 7 - Boys HJ 54 - Girls HJ 44HJ and PV will be run in A 5 alive order 

Pole Vault sheets are not required: there will be no weigh-ins 

3 hour open pits for Long Jump, Triple Jump and Shot Put 

A box alley start will be used for the 800 meter, 1600 meter and 3200 meter (also the  4x800 relay if necessary)

A three turn stager will be used for the 4x400 meter relay 

Depending of the amount of competitors the 800 meter run may be split into 2 heats There will be only 1 heat of the 1600 and 3200 meter run 

Scoring for all events including the relays: 

The first 8 places will score in the meet.

The scoring system will be as follows 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 

Tanker relay is not included in scoring, but there will still be medals for them (There is a mens tanker and a female tanker)
