Meet Information
Thank you for participating in the 2024 Afftons Devon Ford/Glenn Kammerer-JV Relays. The hope is that will be quick, but getting as manykids competing as possible. I am going with a relay format, with a few modifications. Please e-mail thill@afftonschools.net with your choice of field assignments
Date: Wednesday April 24, 2024 4pm
Site:Robert G. Brunette Athletic Complex-Affton High School
Time: Javelin will start at 3:30. All other Field Events start at 4pm and running events at 4:30. A brief coaches meeting will begin at 3:45 pm in the finish line on the track. You will be allowed to only make scratches, no additions. .
Timer:All entries will be entered online utilizingMoMileSplit. Hopefully, timing will be done by Bormans Championship Timing. See the attached sheets for submitting entries online.
The deadline for submitting entries is 6pm the day before the meet.
Teams: Affton, Clayton, Fox, Hancock, Hazelwood West, Jennings, Lift for Life Academy, Lindbergh, McCluer, Notre Dame & STEAM MS-Berkeley

Surface:8 Lane rubberized track. We allow 3/16 and below on the track and runways.
NO TAPE ON THE TRACK OR RUNWAYS! Chalk or Tennis Balls
Seeding:Heats/Flights will be seeded by time and distances entered.
Field Events:Long jump, triple jump, shot, and discus competitors will be given four attempts. THERE WILL BE JAVELIN at 3:30pm on the lower field. ALL THROWS ARE ON THE LOWER FIELD.
Entry Fees: We will be splitting the cost of the Timer, Pizza for coaches, starter & bullpen guy.
Misc:There are bathrooms available. We DO NOT have locker rooms available at the track for athletes, just bathrooms. There will be a concession stand available. There are areas for putting up tents.

Throws: Four throwers, three throws per participant. (Jav 3)
High Jump:Limit 3. Girls will start at 1.19m. Boys will start at 1.32m. If everyone present at the event has made the height that is current, we will not wait for those who left for other events. Sorry, big meet.
Pole Vault:Limit 3. Girls will start at 1.35m. Boys will start at 1.83m. If everyone present at the event has made the height that is current, we will not wait for those who left for other events. Sorry, big meet.
