Entry Deadline: The deadline for entries will be Tuesday, April 2nd @ 9pm.
*Meet entries will open on Jan. 1st, 2024 at 12am*
:Entries
Only athletes competing for their North Carolina, South Carolina,
Virginia, Tennessee and Georgia high schools can enter this meet. All
teams must enter through Milesplit at:
https://nc.milesplit.com/meets/584357-app-state-high-school-invitational-2024.
You must enter your team on Milesplit in order to be entered in the
meet. Please use accurate times/marks.
Entry
Fee: Entry fee will be $10 per athlete per event. $25 per
relay. Entry fee will be charged based on ENTRIES, not PARTICIPATION.
Example: Angela Doe runs 100m, 200m and Long Jump. Her entry fee will
be $30.
Please make checks payable to App State T&F/CC. Please pay before competition begins, so we don't have to come looking for you during the meet.

Starting Heights:
Girls--PV: Starts @ 8-0, then increase 6 inches.
Boys--PV: Starts @ 9-0, 10-0, then increase 6 inches.
Girls--HJ: Starts @ 4-2, then 4-6, then up 2 inches each time.
Boys--HJ: Starts @ 5-0, then 5-4, then up 2 inches each time.
In the Shot Put, Discus, Long Jump and Triple Jump, each athlete will
get FOUR attempts. There will be NO FINALS! The best flights will go
last.
Check-In:
Running event athletes will check in 30 minutes prior to
start of the event at the tent. Field event athletes will check in 30
minutes prior to the start of the event at the event site.
Coaches Meeting: There will be a coaches meeting at 9am.
Information and Heat/flight sheets will be presented during this
time.
Implements:
Implement weigh-ins will take place at the throws site. All
implements must be checked in an hour before the event starts in
order to be used.
Athletic Trainers: A certified athletic trainer will be available for
first-aid services only. If an athletic trainer is unable to attend
the meet with your team, you must send a kit with supplies (tape,
pre-wrap, band-aids). Ice will be available for injuries that may
happen.
Seeding: Seeding will be decided by the games committee based on the number of
entries. All running events will be seeded fast to slow.
Results: Meet results will be posted online at https://nc.milesplit.com, www.bigkahunatiming.com and www.appstatesports.com
Live Results: will be available at live.bigkahunatiming.com and through this meet page on NC MileSplit. QR codes linking to LIVE RESULTS will be posted within the stadium.
Spikes: 1/4 Inch pyramids are the only acceptable spikes. There will be a spike check tent and you must have the correct color zip tie on your competition shoes.
Tape: Only athletic tape may be used as markers for the jumps. NO chalk or any other tape allowed.
Parking: There will be lots of parking for buses and spectators at the facility.
Awards:
There will be awards for the First-place team (boys and girls) and
Top 3 finishers in each event (boys and girls).
