After 2nd call, athletes will remain in bullpen. Athletes will be taken to the event start by running clerks. Once an athlete has completed their event, they will return to the bullpen to collect their belongings and exit to team camp.
Only 1/4 inch spikes can be worn by athletes.
Athlete Participation Limit: 3 running events (Athletes particpating in the 3200 meter run may only participate in one additional running event including relays) and unlimited field events.
Entries: Each school may only enter 3 athletes per individual event. All entries with a seed time/distance/height must be verifiable on milestat.com. If there is no verifiable mark on milestat.com, the seed must be NT/ND/NH. If more than 3 athletes in an individual event are entered, all athletes entered must have verified marks/times which meet the district standard for that event. (2024 District Standards are listed below)
If you have 4 or more athletes who have achieved a district standard in the Spring 2024 season and wish to enter more than 3 in an event, email Sheena Carroll (sheena.carroll@lee.k12.va.us) with all names and meet in which marks were achieved. One relay per team/per event.
Scratches/Declarations must be made by Tuesday, May 14 at Noon. After the scratch/declaration deadline, all running events will be seeded and all field events will be put into flights if necessary. We will follow the declaration rule for running events. You may scratch in a running event and still participate in later running events including relays with no penalty. However, if you are declared in your maximum number of events, you cannot scratch one of those and run in a relay. Athletes may participate only in events entered on milestat.com. You must include your relay members and alternates in your entries.
