Coaches,
The Abington Senior High Track & Field team would like to invite you to our 14th Annual Jack Armstrong Track & Field Invitational to be run on Friday April 19, 2024. The meet will be held on our 8-lane resurfaced track in Schwartzman Stadium.
The High School meet format this year features open events and relays in 2 different categories for both boys and girls. Those are Novice races and Varsity races. There will not be a team score held. The meet will be automatically timed. The meet will begin at 3:30 PM rain or shine.
Entry Fee
Entry fee is $175.00 per boys or girls' teams or $350.00 for both. Individuals' fee is $35.00 per event and relays $75.00 per relay. Please make non-refundable checks payable to Abington Track & Field.

Entry Process
Entries will be done via pa.milesplit.com. Log in and do your entries there. Entries are due by April 19th at 10:00am. With this late entry, there should be very few scratches. We should be able to put the performance list up by Friday afternoon. There will be ABSOLUTELY no Entries or additions at the meet.
Equipment
Spikes of 1/4 inches or less for running and jumping events. Shot Put and Discus events are from concrete surfaces (No Spikes Allowed). Javelin is from a grass surface. Javelin spikes are allowed.
Awards
Top 6 in each event will receive medals.
Rules
P.I.A.A. Rules apply for Uniforms, etc.
NFHS Rules apply for uniforms, etc.
The meet will be sanctioned by the NFHS.
Track events are girls followed by boys.
Please note the standards to get more than 3 athletes into the meet.
All heats will run slow to fast.
Time schedule is just a guideline.
School Commitments
We will need each school to supply one coach to help officiate. Please email Coach Neely what event you want to officiate wneely@mc3.edu, we do not need timers.

3 entries will be allowed in the novice 1600-meter run for all boys who can run under 5:30 and for all girls who can run under 6:30. We will run a maximum of 2 heats for each sex.
