WHAT: Lake Braddock Hall of Fame Invitational. Join us as we recognize and honor athletes who are representative of our tradition of excellence.
WHEN: Friday & Saturday, April 19 & 20, 2024

ENTRIES & DEADLINE: All entries done on Milestat. Deadline for entries is Wednesday, April 17, 2024 by 11 pm. Limit 2 entries per event. Please do not enter athletes that cannot guarantee a varsity high school performance. Please seed appropriately. Athletes entered better than their previous performances will be placed in the slowest section. If you legitimately have a third athlete in an event contact Coach Switzer. A third entrant in that event should be one that can compete in one of the fastest/farthest/highest sections.

ENTRY FEE: $375 per team ($200 per single-sex teams). Make checks payable to: LBSS (with Hall of Fame Meet in memo). Send checks to: Lake Braddock Secondary School, ATTN: Jason Switzer/Athletics, 9200 Burke Lake Rd., Burke, VA 22015. Entry fee is non-refundable. We will make every effort to conduct the meet in its entirety should inclement weather force delays. Meet management reserves the right to adjust the order of events and sections in an effort to ensure as many athletes as possible get a chance to compete.
RULES & SANCTIONING: The meet is sanctioned for teams nationally
TIMING: FAT by PMV/K&G Timing
RESULTS: Results will be posted on Milestat
AWARDS: Medals to the top 3 in each event (top 3 relays); MVP: Track (girl & boy) MVP: Field (girl & boy); no team scoring
ADMISSION FEE: $5.00 for all parents & spectators; cash and ETix accepted.
CONCESSIONS: The concessions stand will be open serving a variety of refreshments
TRACK EVENT NOTES: 6-lanes; quarter-inch max spikes; see unique order of events, fastest seeded sections of the 3200m run, 1600m run, and 800m run will be determined once entries close and will be announced by Thursday afternoon, April 18, 2024.
FIELD EVENT NOTES: Opening heights: GHJ 4'5", BHJ 5'4"; GPV 7'0", BPV 9'3". Throws & LJ/TJ will have 3 attempts and top 9 move on to finals. All athletes in the throws and horizontal jumps will get their first attempt marked. Subsequent attempts must make a minimum distance to be marked: LJ: 14/18; TJ: 28/36; SP: 25/35; DT: 70/90. GLJ board is 10', BLJ board is 12'; GTJ boards are 25' & 33', BTJ boards are 33' & 38'.
