Meet Information
Awards: Medals will be awarded to 1st - 3th place finishers and a ribbon will be given for 4th place. Relays 1st -3rd place finishers.
This meet will include 4 divisions: 7th & 8th grade girls and 7th & 8th grade boys. 1 relay team per event and two athlete limit per individual event, per team, per classification (grade, gender).
Field events will be done differently this year to limit the size of each event.
Jump Events: 2 athletes per school, grade, & gender
- 16 jumpers max per grade (64 total jumpers)
- 4 jumps with no finals
- 2 pits only (girls on west and boys on the east)
- start jumping 1 hour before any running events.
- Have both 7th and 8th jump at the same time per gender.
- 1 -2-hour time limit to get your jumps in.
- 30 min warm-up time for triple jump and same 1 -2-hour time limit and 4 jumps no finals.
- Athletes must check out if they have to run another event and they have 10 mins to check back in or they will be scratched if name is called, and they don't show.
Throw events: 2 athletes per school, grade, & gender
- 16 Throwers max per grade/gender (64 total throwers)
- 4 throws a piece with only marking first throw and if athlete doesn't beat mark we don't mark.
- No finals
- Athletes must check out if they have to run another event and they have 10 mins to check back in or they will be scratched if name is called, and they don't show.
Entry fees:
7th Girls ($100, or $10 per athlete up to 10 athletes before team rate kicks in)
8th Girls ($100, or $10 per athlete up to 10 athletes before team rate kicks in)
7th Boys ($100, or $10 per athlete up to 10 athletes before team rate kicks in)
8th Boys ($100, or $10 per athlete up to 10 athletes before team rate kicks in)
- Coach meeting will start @3:30
- Field events will start @4pm.
- All running events will start @5:30pm

Entrance Fee: $5 per child/adult spectators - no cost for competing athletes/coaches. Any Lubbock game passes will not be accepted!
