Meet Information
We are excited you have entered your team at the 5A South Jr High Track and Field Championships! Here are a few points of interest about our meet:
Arrive at Lakeside before 2:15 PM. You will drop your athletes off at the track and then park your bus on the west end of our campus in the gravel lot beside the Rock Administration Building. We have 3,500 students leaving campus starting at 2:45 PM, and if you are off campus by 2:30 PM, your bus will not be able to enter.
Your teams will camp in the visitor side bleachers. We have 6 schools participating, so please limit your space to your needs.
We will have a coaches meeting at 3:00 PM in the Ram Fieldhouse. A hospitality room will be available for all coaches. Please do not let students in the Fieldhouse with you.
Field Events will start at 3:30 PM - Girls, PV, LJ, Discus; Boys HJ, TJ, Shot
Teams Events:
High Jump - Arkansas High
Pole Vault - Lakeside
Long Jump - Hot Springs
Triple Jump - El Dorado
Shot - Camden
Discus - Magnolia
1st exchange zone - Magnolia/El Dorado
2nd exchange zone - Lakeside/Hot Springs
3rd exchange zone - Camden/Arkansas High
Hurdle Crew - Everyone
The 4 x 800 Relay will start at 3:45 PM
All other running events will begin after the field events are concluded
7. Entries will close at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 9t
8. Scratches will be done at the tent.
9. We will broadcast live results through Ar.milesplit.com.
10. Pick up awards in the pressbox before you leave the meet.
11. The entry fee will be evenly divided between the six schools for the cost of the meet.
