Outer Banks Middle School Invitational

Location: First Flight Track, 109 Veterans Dr., Kill Devil Hills, NC
The first ever Eastern North Carolina Middle School Invitational is coming to the Outer Banks!
Bring your team to the beach, and enjoy a day of competitive track & field. Using FAT timing,
this meet will serve as a qualifier for NC and VA conference, state, and national championships.
No AAU/Track Club teams will be allowed to compete. Individuals will need to identify
themselves with their middle school. The event will start later in the morning to allow travel
time. The goal is to finish the meet by late afternoon so that you can dip your toes in the ocean
before heading home.

Awards: Medals for top 3 individuals/relay teams in each event. Trophies to top girls team and
top boys team.
Entry Fee: $125 boys & girls or $70 for boys or girls only. $10/individual, $20/relay teams.

Spectator Fee: $5 for an all-day pass
T-shirts and concessions available for purchase at the event.
Entry Restrictions: Each athlete can only compete in 3 events. One relay team per event per gender from your school. Your team can enter as many athletes as they would like in each event. However, if we
have too many entries for running events, we may institute qualification standards as
needed.
Field Event Information: High Jump starting height girls 4-0, boys 4-4. Long jump will only measure girls jumps over 10-0 and boys jumps over 13-0. Shot put will only measure girls throws over 20-0 and boys throws over 25-0. Discus will only measure girls discus throws over 45-0 and boys throws over 70-0.

10 AM-Gates open. 10:30 AM-Coaches Meeting.
11 AM-Field events begin

Running Events resume at 1:30 PM with rolling schedule:
Girls 100m hurdles (only 5 hurdles, AAC conference style)
