Hello Coaches,
Some of you have reached out to me about the plan for weather. As of now we are planning to move forward as normal. I can tell you that moving to Friday is NOT an option as our timer will not be available. If we are having to cancel the field events, "and I'm hoping we don't" then we will stay with the schedule we have with running events, and will roll right into the 4x100 relay. Trust me, I am going to do everything that I possibly can to save as much of this meet possibly if not all of it. Just a reminder about entries. We have extended those until March 21st at 12pm. When those close, I will send out the heat sheets for you to have. Few other things to point out. We will have the coaches meeting under the bleachers on the home side. The concession will be open on the home side. We are asking that you drop your athletes off on the visitor side, and that is where they will set up camp. Buses will need to park on the visitor side. There will be NO campsites on the infield. We ask that you assist us with keeping the infield for warmup area ONLY. There is a grass area on the visitor side where your teams can setup camp. If you don't mind emailing me the number of coaches you will be bringing so that we have enough for meals, that would be great. Our coaches room will be under the home bleachers in the north end concession. Again, please remember there will be 4 entries for the field events, and NO JV division. Just boys and girls. Running events, we will have unlimited entries for the open 200m that will be hand held timed. Coaches are responsible for timing their athletes. All other running events will be FAT, with 3 entries per event, with a JV/Varsity division. If it's anything I am leaving out, I will send to you ASAP. We look forward to hosting you Thursday.
