Meet Information
Now in our 21st year this meet is set up to honor two former Centerville and US Olympic track & field coaches, Criss & Rita Somerlot. In this setting, athletes will be able to compete against the best in the state in just field events, without the worry of having to check out and go run on the track.
-Cost is $10.00 an athlete with a team total maxed out at $100.00 per school.
- There is a 4 event maximum per athlete.
- The entry fee includes one meet t-shirt for each athlete and one t-shirt per staff.
- Meet is BOYS & GIRLS
- The track is located behind Centerville High School (500 East Franklin St).
- Food trucks will be available at the stadium during the meet.
- 1st place will be a custom meet specific award.2nd thru 8th will receive a ribbon.
- Hammer, Shot Put & Discus will be 3 throws and the top 9 to finals for 3 more attempts. Awards at the end of each event, at the event.
- Minimum Marks: Discus (B) 115ft (G) 85ft, Hammer- (B)100ft (G)90ft, SP- (B)40ft (G)30ft
First legal mark will be marked, then athletes will have to throw above the minimum mark to get marked
- Make checks payable to: Centerville Track & Field (mail in or bring with you)
- Unlimited entries but keep in mind the minimum marks listed above
(Pick up your t-shirt in the CHS Locker room, at the stadium)
Time Schedule:
Noon-Boys Hammer Throw w Girls to follow
12:30 pm- Boys Shot Put w/girls to follow
12:30 pm- Girls Discus w/boys to follow
1:00 pm-Girls Pole Vault w/Boys to follow
