THE MIGHTY VIKING INVITATIONAL
North Stokes High School will be hosting the 13th Annual Mighty Viking Track and Field Invitational on Saturday March 23, 2024. This invitational is open to any school that would like to attend. This year we have added a middle school division we a full schedule of middle school events to go along with the high school events. In 2022 we had a total of 24 teams with great competition and a championships style atmosphere. We had some of the top 1A-4A athletes and teams from across the state. All running events will be timed finals. North Stokes is only a 45 minute drive from Winston Salem and a one hour drive from Greensboro. Even though we are out in the middle of the country our track facility is one of the best high school facilities in this part of the state. We have hosted the Midwest 1A Regional eight times so our staff and help is very experienced. We will have FAT timing and scoring as well. We have two long jump pits, and two pole vault pits, two shot put areas and two discus areas. Everyone on our meet staff and all head officials have been certified track and field officials. The entry fee for this meet is $100 per school. If you have less than eight athletes on your team or if you are running as an individual it is $10 per athlete. You will enter your athletes through ncrunners (www.ncrunners.com) for this meet. The entry fee for middle school teams is $75 per school.
