Meet Information
We would like to welcome you to the Coal Grove Open meets for the 2024 track season. The dates for these meets are March 26, April 8, and April 16. These meets will have FAT timing completed by Tri-State Racer. We encourage you to get your teams signed up early. We may have to cut entries off if the number we have goes over the number of teams we feel is a comfortable number for our facilities to handle. Below are some general information and guidelines.
-All entries to be completed on OHmilesplit. Registration is open and closes at 3:00PM the day of event. PLEASE try to have all scratch/adds made by that time to help the meet go smoothly.
-30.00 entry fee per school (We aren't trying to make money, just trying to offset the timing cost) Make checks payable to Dawson Bryant High School Athletic Department.
- Field events will begin at 5:00PM. Running events will start at 5:45PM with the 4x800m Relay.
-General Admission $5.00 for all spectators and non-participating students.
-Concessions will be available.
-Buses are to park and unload in the bus lane in front of the Middle and High School. Do not gobehind the High School to unload.
-All athletes and coaches enter the South gate in front of the Middle School. It is the gate bythe new weight room facility.
-Number of participants allowed in each event will depend on the number of teams andathletes registered. We will do our best to allow as many as possible but must also keep the events moving along.
-NO TENTS/CANOPIES on the football field or home bleachers. Team areas should not be on the field.Coaches, please keep athletes off the field unless they are warming up for an event.
-Team area can be on the visitor bleachers, or the grass area surrounding the visitor bleachers.
- We have bleacher areas near most all of the field events. Please encourage parents/fans to use these and stay off the track and football field as much as possible.
