Blacksburg XC Course at the Blacksburg High School (3401 Bruin Lane, Blacksburg)
This meet is intended for Timesland area JV squads, but any VA school is welcome!
The following schools are within the Timesland Area:

Craig County, Eastern Montgomery, Galax, George Wythe, Highland, Narrows, Parry McCluer, PH-Glade Spring, Rural Retreat

Division 3A: Alleghany, Cave Spring, Christiansburg, Hidden Valley, Liberty-Bedford, Lord Botetourt, Magna Vista, Northside, Patrick County, Rockbridge County, Staunton River
Division 4A: Bassett, Blacksburg, Carroll County, Jefferson Forest, Pulaski County, Salem, William Byrd
Division 5A: Patrick Henry-Roanoke, William Fleming

Your team is invited to participate in the Metro JV Cross Country Championship Meet this fall. There will be an entrance fee of $75 per school or $5.00 per athlete up to $75. Make all checks payable to Blacksburg High School with "Metro JV" in the memo line.

We will have two separate races - one for men and one women. You can enter unlimited runners for each race.
Registration Deadline: You need to register on Milestat. Friday, October 20th at 11:59pm is the deadline.
Awards:
Top 3 teams in each race will receive a team trophy. The top 10 runners in each race will receive awards.
Schedule:
4:20pm: Coaches Meeting
4:45pm: Women's JV 5k
5:30pm: Men's JV 5k
6:00pm: Awards
PARKING: $5.00 PER VEHICLE (buses and school vehicles do not pay).
Results: Will be posted on the results board by the finish line. Results will be sent to Milestat.com.
Concessions will be available near the Finish Area.
Changing/ shower facilities: Our football half time building that is on site is available for changing and showers. If you would like the use of this facility you must request it with us by email. E-mail: blacksburgtrack@gmail.com
Athletic Trainer: We will have an athletic trainer on site for limited assistance.
Water/ Gatorade: Coolers and cups of both will be at the start and finish.

Traveling I-81, take Exit 118 (also Va Tech exit). This goes onto a collector lane that you will follow to Exit 118-B (to Blacksburg). Stay on this road. You will be traveling West on 460 Bypass. Stay on Route 460 heading west. Take the 2nd Price's Fork Road exit after going under the overpass (this is the 2nd exit after the stoplightat Virginia Tech). Exit will bring you out on Price's Fork Road. Continue on Price's Fork Road past Foxridge Apartments (on the left), shopping center (on the left), volunteer fire department (on the right), Kipps Elementary School (on the left), and Blacksburg Middle School (on the left). Continue past BMS and take a left on Bruin Lane at the stoplight. Continue down Bruin Lane to Blacksburg High School. There will be volunteers that will direct buses where to park.
