Caroline Lehman ran 10:27.16 in the indoor 2-mile at the VA Showcase, yesterday. Is this a Florida indoor record? I have entailed what I found below. Can anyone confirm if Caroline broke Erika Fluehr's record. Thanks! KAYLA HALE, 2009 3000 - 9:59.87 @Innagural GSC Meet EMILIE AMARO, 2008 3200 - 10:43 @Nike Indoor Nationals ERIKA FLUEHR, 2011 2-mile 10:30.92 @Community School of Naples

@raybfree Ashley Brasovan was probably in that range without researching. Bummed Carnes fell apart and there is nothing indoor in FL anymore. Happy hunting on the research

@ERYRC 1It was her first race healthy and we have yet to do any speed. All she has been doing is thresh/steady states at 35 miles per week. I'm moving very slow because that calf pull was something else. It would simply not go away. And AAU isn't a bad idea. We are not promised an outdoor season but with sound minds working together and intelligent safeguards, we can have an amazing outdoor track season for 2021.

@ERYRC1 The great Ashley. Wasn't she just amazing to watch? She actually threw down a 16:18 outdoor 5k at nationals. I would have loved to have seen that. I did have the pleasure to see her break the 3200 record after she was edged out at the mile by I think Shelby?

@ERYRC1 lol, isn't coach Butler's mind more accurate than any Florida database? He's a living, breathing stat machine.

@ERYRC1 10:20.99 - It was an amazing race! Caroline got a little too excited and went out in 32-33 for the first 200/ 1:12 at the 400. But then she settled down and was smoothly clocking 1:17-1:18, right on the money. I'm just thankful @coachbutler was looking out for Caroline and me. If it wasn't for his exhorting recollection, I don't think we would have gone back up to give it a 2nd go at it. Now off to Adidas Nationals in the 5k.
