Can anyone bring me up to speed on standard (if thinking there is a standard is not too optimistic) hurdle heights and implement weights for middle school here in Colorado. I need to change how I report results so that the wrong middle school marks don't get used for high school seeds. Just found out that was happening and I want to steer that ship in a better direction.

I'm going to guess that anywhere 110 hurdles are run it's with a 33-inch height.

I cannot speak for certain on the boys, but both girls hurdle races are run at the 30" height. I heard that the boys compete at the same height, but I only coach girls track in the Fall for D-11 so I can only confidently speak to that. Girls- Fall, Boys- Spring, in D-11.

@CoachVersaw You are right that there is no standard. Northeast Colorado mostly runs the 200m Low hurdles at 30" and the girls 100m low hurdles at 30". I preferred that the boys run 100m, also, but at a 33" height, but the area middle school ADs switched it to the 110m hurdles at 33".

@CoachVersaw Also, implement weights are 4K shot and everybody uses the girls' discus.

@jacklubbers Jack, thank you for your input on that. This is turning out to be more complicated than I thought.
