Well, after watching the movie the Internship, we found there are some awesome people out there with great ideas! Vertical Runner Breckenridge is owned and operated by locals Molly and Drew Mikita, and Ryan Morgan. Molly and Ryan run the store and Drew is Professor of Psychology at Colorado Mountain College and helps with camps, web, and anything that is needed. We opened the store in July, 2014 and have had the normal and ups and downs of any first year business. We have had the opportunity to be a part of some huge races, and are doing some even bigger events. We are launching our web store and are looking to get the word out about the store, races, and CampVRB. We had a great intern help us get our site going. Now we want to get creative with marketing. So part of your application is going to be submitting an idea of how we can get the word out about Vertical Runner Breckenridge and CampVRB, we are also looking for great videos for the running community, informational, funny, inspirational, or anything running. There are no limits on how to do this, do remember that being a positive role model is an expectation for consideration. Any videos displaying drugs or anything illegal will be immediately rejected and VRB claims no responsibility for the making of these videos. Your video will may be on our website and various social media outlets. So, be creative, tactful, and hilarious. A bit about us and some of our ideas we have come up with for possible videos/marketing ideas include: Funny things that happen to runners, running tips, Phoenix our treadmill dog, or anything else that might draw positive attention to the store or camp. We believe that the running community is wonderful, and support anything to help better the running world. What do you get if you receive a VRB Co-Op? A position as a Camp Coach at CampVRB. You will get the opportunity to be a part of a variety aspects of the camp. The co-op would be part camp counselor, run leader, positive citizen, and ambassador for all things VRB, as well as help with social media aspects of the store, CampVRB, or future races. Camp Coaches entire lodging, food, incredible gear hook ups, and all activities will be included in the co-op. You will be staying in high end vacation rental houses with campers.
