As post-season award selections go, the selection of the Boys Track Athlete of the Year, is about as clear-cut as they come because Christian Shakir-Ricks pretty much crushed the spring season.

The 2018 MileSplitCA Boys Track & Field Coach of the Year is Aaron Ballou, who led Murrieta Mesa to Southern Section and CIF-State Meet boys team titles, the first two championships in program.
