Boys Rankings

A new #1 was named this weekend after an impressive start to the 2010 XC season.  Futsum Zeinasellassie has won 5 races this fall, 3 of them against other nationally ranked individuals.  His most telling stat of the season was coming within 2 seconds of Chris Derrick's course record at the Culver Academies Invite where he won in 14:49.9.

Another big development was the rise of Billy Orman, who blitzed the Desert Twilight course with a winning time of 14:51, after a series of races at altitude.  And Zach Wills finds his running legs as he won the Midwestern Meet of Champs and pulled soph Jacob Burcham up into the rankings as well.

Ammar Moussa won at Stanford in impressive fashion as he continues to stake his claim as one of the top harriers of 2010.  Teammate Sergio Gonzalez takes a spot in the rankings after his impressive runner-up performance at Stanford.

John Mascari makes a rankings debut after hawking Futsum at Culver and Ryan Pickering took down Del Valle at Spanish River and narrowly lost to Clark at FLRunners to earn his spot in the top-25.
