USA Track and Field Day 3 Press Release

Brandon Sanders (Jr., Columbia, SC) placed 2nd in his heat in the 200 meter dash prelims with a time of 21.81.  Sanders time puts him in 7th place overall out of 4 heats.

In the girls 200 meter dash, Olivia Ekpone  (Jr., Northwest, MD) won her heat in 24.05.  Okpone had the 2nd best time of the day.

 

 

  

 

Reese Watson (Jr., Spring TX) finished 9th in the boys pole vault with a jump of 4.60 (15-2).

 

 

Amber Brock - Bryant (Jr., McEachern, GA) won her heat in the 400 meter hurdles with a personal best time of 59.46.  Brock-Bryant had the 3rd fastest time of the day.

 

 

 

Shelby Ashe (Sr., St. Pius  X, GA) finished 3rd in the hammer throw prelims with a throw of 58.01 (190-03.75).

 

 

 

Claudia Francis (Sr., Benjamin Cardoza, NY) finished 5th in her heat and 9th overall in the 1000 meter run Prelims.  Francis finished with a time of 2:51.99.
