While cross country action is still wrapping up across the country, for the most part, the middle school season has wrapped up. It was an exciting season across the board for middle school girls in the 2-mile, with one individual finishing the season with a sub-11-minute personal best and 24 individuals racing under the 11:30 barrier.

In three months of action, let's take a look at which middle school girls are distance running's next big thing.
