The Fleet Feet Biggest Mover Award, is a weekly award that goes to an athlete who, in the minds of our team at MileSplit, we believe made the most strides in their respective Brooks XC Region. Whether that means they made big leaps up the leaderboards, or shattered a course record, we recognize that this athlete has established themselves as a contender at their upcoming championship race.

Aiden Aysun (Oviedo, FL) earned the honors this week after his 14:57.06 win at the FHSAA 4A Region 1 meet. Aysun scorched the course and broke fifteen minutes for the first time in his state regional victory.

Last week, Aysun was ranked 166th in the Brooks XC South Region Rankings, but his 14:57 catapulted him to 38th in the region.

The Top 30 athletes at Brooks XC Region Championships will receive All-Region Honors, while the top ten individuals will book their ticket to compete at the Brooks XC National Championships in San Diego on December 13.

Aysun has been a quiet riser in 2025. Entering the season, his cross country best was a 15:51.2 over the 5,000m distance. He has run faster than that four times already this season.

In his regional victory, Aysun led an Oviedo 1-2-3 as the team handily captured the team title.
