It's been an exciting final month of cross country action and the newest group of underclassmen runners has shown us all what's next for distance running in the United States.

Florence's (AL) Charlie Hollingsworth raced to the 11th fastest 5K time of the month last weekend at the Alabama XC State Championships. The sophomore finished 2nd in the 7A state race, crossing the line in a 15:27.91 - just 3 seconds from his personal best that he set a week prior.
