Register For The Brooks XC West Region Championship

The Brooks XC West Championship is quickly approaching. Slated for November 29th at the Mt. Sac Cross Country course in Walnut, California, the top runners in the West will clash for a coveted regional championship title and a qualifying spot at the Brooks XC National Championships in San Diego on December 13.

As always, California has a good chance at sending several athletes to the next stage of the Brooks XC Championships in December.

Aelo Curtis (Ventura) is the state's top-ranked runner, having gone 16:44.50 earlier this month at the always-competitive Clovis XC Invitational. Ella Mongannam (Lick Wilmerding) is not too far behind, thanks to her 16:49.01 last month at the BCL West meet.

Summer Wilson (Irvine) also set her personal best at the Clovis XC Invitational, running in second place behind Curtis and running a 16:57.20.

The Golden State looks to be in good hands before their state's best embark on Walnut in four weeks.
