What's better than racing under the lights? That's right, nothing!
For years, the Desert Twilight has produced amazing performances throughout all divisions, from state records to massive PB's.
This last weekend was no different as a lot of athletes left Gilbert, Arizona with a faster course best than they came in with.
Sabino (Ariz.) sophomore Milo Mandolini was the meet's biggest improver, running a whopping 2:19 faster than he did in 2023. Mandolini clocked 16:10, considerably quicker than the 18:29 he ran as a freshman.
Niwot (Colo.) star Rocco Culpepper threw down the second-fastest overall time of the meet, running 14:44.3 to lower his course best by 27 seconds.
