As we continue through competition for the outdoor season, let's take a look at another combined list. Although there is still plenty of competition left, we are seeing these athletes perform at a high caliber even this early on in the season.
Who sits atop the list of the fastest boys when combining 400m and 800m marks?
That's none other than our current No. 1 in the COROS MileSplit 50 rankings, Quincy Wilson.
The sophomore at Bullis School (MD) has been a name all over track and field recently. He is the current U.S. No. 1 in the 400m with his 45.19 and is the current U.S. No. 4 athlete in the 800m with his 1:50.44, which brings him to No. 1 on our list with a combined time of 2:35.63.
Patrick Hilby, University of Wisconsin signee and current U.S. No. 1 in the 800m with his 1:49.47, has not run a 400m this outdoor season, therefore he does not appear on our current list...
