WATCH: Annie Miller's Gutsy Move Wins 800m At Adidas

VIRGINIA BEACH -- Charlize McKenzie-Trinity measured it almost right.

Well, at least until Annie Miller came into the picture.

With 50 meters left of the girls 800m championship on Saturday at adidas Track Nationals, Miller slipped past McKenzie-Trinity at the line to take the win in 2:12.52 ... by two-hundredths of a second.

Trinity McKenzie, the Wisconsin sophomore who entered with a U.S. No. 5 at the 600 meter distance, would follow in second, exerting every part of her at the line.

The performance nearly equaled Miller's personal best of 2:12.36, which she ran at New Balance Nationals Indoor last week.
