WATCH: Jayden Keys Cruises 37.84 In 300mH At Bluebonnet


COLLEGE STATION, Tex. - Jayden Keys had a busy day on the track and in the field on Friday at the Texas A&M Bluebonnet Invitational.

The Katy Tompkins senior clocked the fastest 110mH performance of the preliminaries in 13.85, which improved on his U.S. No. 1 time. Then, midway through his long jump series, Keys jumped back on the track to contest in the 300mH prelim.

Keys put in a huge effort early and was able to walk away with a time of 37.84.

He led four other boys under 38 seconds, including Jaquail Morris (37.88), Ryan McMeen (37.90) and James Ledbetter (37.99). 

As soon as Keys crossed the finish line, he walked back over to compete in the long jump. He finished with a mark of 24-7.25 to grab the win.

Keys will compete in the 110mH and 300mH finals on Saturday at 12:40 pm and 2:15 pm.
