WATCH: Maira Scott, Olivia Pace Split 60m-200m At State

Two races, two stars.

It was only fitting that things split between Olivia Pace and Maira Scott, future teammates (and dorm mates) at the University of Southern California, at the Ohio Association of Track and Cross Country Coaches Indoor State Division I Championships on Friday at the SPIRE track in Geneva.

Pace, a senior at Westerville Central, culminated her regular season with her best effort yet at 60 meters, clocking a time of 7.37 seconds to secure her third straight win at the distance at the state meet. Scott, meanwhile, finished third in 7.58.

The outcome, meanwhile, changed in the 200m, with Scott, the Holland Springfield senior, pulling away early on the curve as she secured a career best time of 23.83 seconds and her first indoor title (above). Pace followed in 24.42.

Those two performances highlighted 481 elite performances on Friday.
