Elite high school mile fields have been announced for the New Balance Grand Prix, set to take place on Saturday, February 3, and Sunday, February 4, in Boston, Massachusetts at the TRACK at New Balance.

The international boys mile will take place on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. EST while the girls will take place on Sunday at 3:50 p.m. EST. Both races will be shown on YouTube.

The races will be significant not only for the level of talent at the line, but also where each athlete resides from.

These fields feature talent from the United States, England, Scotland and Ireland.

Corey Campbell, a 15-year-old world age group record-holder in the mile hailing from George Heriot's School in Scotland, will be in the boys field.

Tendai Nyabadza, a 2022 European U18 bronze medalist in the 1,500m with a time of 3:41.71 -- which converts to 3:58 in the mile -- is also in the field.

Miles Ramer, the nation's current U.S. No. 1 leader in the mile with a time of 4:06.97, is also in the field, alongside Foot Locker Nationals champion Drew Butler, Nike Cross Nationals champion JoJo Jourdon and recently-minted Gatorade National Cross Country Player of the Year Daniel Simmons.

On the girls side, Ventura's Sadie Engelhardt, Flower Mound's Samantha Humphries and Cedar park's Isabel Conde De Frankenberg should be the main draws on the U.S. side.

Engelhardt, the returning champion in this race, is the reigning New Balance Nationals Indoor and Outdoor national champion in the mile. This will mark her indoor debut for the 2024 season.
