Could Cameron Todd Go Two-for-Two at Foot Locker Midwest?

Also joining the Notre Dame fleet next fall is recent NXR Midwest title-winner Cameron Todd.

Hailing from Indiana, Todd has completed an impressive season, dipping under 15 minutes four times, collecting his first IHSAA state title and winning six meets overall. But these last four weeks of racing will be tough. He already qualified for NXN, and will have Foot Locker Regionals and then nationals.

It's four straight weeks of competition.

But Todd, and historically the Midwest runners, are tough. The Brebeuf Jesuit senior won NXR Midwest in personal best of 14:43.80 on Nov. 12.

NXR Heartland fourth place finisher Sam Scott is also set to perform in Kenosha and looks to be Todd's main opposition.

Scott has run 14:36.40 from his NXR bid and he is currently seeded No. 3 in the Midwest region. Todd stands at No. 8 in the region.

With sights set on running both Nike Cross Nationals and Foot Locker, these two seniors certainly have their hands full.

Fremont's Juan Gonzalez (NE) is another under-the-radar runner to watch, alongside Rock Bridge's Luke Sievers and Andrew Hauser. Chapparal's (CO) Brennan Draper, Carmel's (IN) Tony Provenzano and Chaska's (MN) are also top runners.
