It's been a couple of months since we last took a look at the top recruits in the Class of 2024. There hasn't been much track & field action since, but a lot of distance runners worked their way onto the list or more than solidified their current ranking.
There are a lot of different factors that go into our ranking process, including a tiered rating system, the current MileSplit50, MileSplit rankings, state and meet records, historical results and performances from the different national championships.
There was zero movement at the top of the list, as Mia Brahe-Pederson, Adaejah Hodge, Michelle Smith, Ellie Shea and Allison Ince remain in the top five. Out of the top five, only Brahe-Pederson and Ince have made their college decisions, as the star sprinter is heading to the University of Southern California, and the mid-distance phenom is headed to the University of Oregon.
