After eight straight days of track and field action, the final race at the AAU Junior Olympics had everyone on their feet.

That's because the H-Town Hurricanes and The Wings Track Club, two of the nation's top track and field youth clubs from the Houston area, were battling it out for the 17-18 year-old 4x400m title.

It was ultimately a neighborhood battle as both squads are from Missouri City, Texas.

With a sneak attack on the inside over the last 100m, the H-Town Hurricanes won the title in 3:11.01, downing Wings by a tenth of a second.

From the start, both teams took turns taking the lead in the race. But ultimately H-Town Hurricanes made critical late moves to grab the victory.

The anchor leg for H-Town split 48.30 for the win as Wings' final leg had a 48.51 carry.
