The rising junior class could make a huge impact on the course this fall.

With seven boys under 15 minutes for 5k and 30 below that mark for the 3-mile distance last season for the class of 2025, stars could quickly emerge during the 2023 cross country campaign.

Who should you look out for? Begin with Manny Putz of Onalaksa (WI), who leads rising juniors with a 14:50.65 5k from last fall. Josiah Tostenson will also be one to watch out of Oregon powerhouse Crater after posting an impressive 13:57.40 3-mile effort at the premiere Woodbridge Classic as a sophomore.

But those aren't the only athletes to keep an eye on in the coming months.

Continue below for full lists of the top boys returners from the class of 2025 at both the 5k and 3-mile distances.
