61 athletes were selected to compete for Team U.S.A. in San Jose, Costa Rica for the U23 NACAC Championships from July 21-23.

The U.S. team comprises of 28 women and 33 men. Five high school athletes will be among the American contingent.

Two competitors from Oregon will have a moment to shine in Costa Rica.

The first is Mia Brahe-Pedersen. Her name has been prevalent recently as she was the youngest girl in the field at USATF Outdoor Championships in the 100m and 200m finals,  where she finished seventh and eighth, respectively. L

The rising senior at Lake Oswego will compete individually in the 100m and 200m while being in the relay pools for the 4x100m and 4x400m. This season, she ran the second-fastest 100m in the country with a time of 11 seconds and a No. 2 all-time 200m performance of 22.45.

From Oregon City, Sophia Beckmon -- who was the runner-up in the 100m and 200m and the long jump at Nike Outdoor Nationals -- will represent the U.S. in the long jump.

Beckmon's season best mark is 22-4, which is the best effort by a high school girl this spring.

Next is Hana Moll. The World U20 champion made her second U.S. team and will look to add a NACAC U23 title to her resume.

The Washington recruit is ranked 33rd in the world in this event with a 15-1.5 clearance from the USATF Outdoor Championships. The clearance improved on her national high school record mark.

Ellie Shea, who represented the U.S. at the U20 World Cross Country Championships this fall, will compete in the 1,500m.

At the USATF Outdoor Championships, she was one of the youngest competitors in the field and finished 28th overall with a 4:20.11. She owns a personal best of 4:14, which she clocked last season.

There was one high school boy listed on the roster for the states. Ashton Torns, an Austin Westlake (TX) graduate and University of Miami signee, will be a part of the 4x100m relay pool.

Below are the full rosters for the women's and men's teams.
