It's finally time for some highly-anticipated championship racing.
It's the biggest week of high school track and field this outdoor season as thousands of athletes compete at national meets across the country, including Nike Outdoor Nationals at historic Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore.
This year's championships feature some of the nation's top athletes across a slew of events, including US No. 1 performers and others looking to chase history.
That chase for titles and results begins today as Thursday marks day 1 of Nike.
