Erriyon Knighton Dominates In Poland, Wins 200m In 19.95

Erriyon Knighton's last months as a teenager continue to see the Florida native rack up World-level performances and wins.

On Tuesday in Poland at the Irena Szewinska Memorial, part of the World Continental Tour, Knighton clocked his 12th sub-20 performance over 200 meters, winning the men's race in 19.95 (+0.7) seconds.

It followed a performance of 19.89 which Knighton, a 2022 graduate of Tampa Hillsborough High School, authored just four days earlier in Italy at the Golden Gala Pietro Mennea.

As Knighton's season progresses into critical junctures at the USA Championships in July and potentially the World Championships in Budapest in August, he is solidifying himself as a medal contender.

Knighton is currently ranked No. 4 in the World for 200m.
