Jessica Lewis began competing in the World Para Athletics Grand Prix 2023 in Nottwil, Switzerland.
On Day One of the competition, Lewis competed in the T53 Women's 200m, Lewis would finish second behind Hamide Dogangun with a time of 31.88.
Lewis told MileSplit Bermuda after the race, "I felt good going into the race. I felt like I had a great start and acceleration until the corner when I came down and hit my push rim wrong on my left side and almost lost my glove. Was able to recover a bit to finish the race but slowed my speed."
