The show-stopping performance at the 2019 UIL Outdoor Track and Field Championships was Matthew Boling's anchor leg for Strake Jesuit (TX) in the 4x400m.

It was a moment no one could forget.

Before Boling grabbed the baton three seconds back from DeSoto, the crowd was already on their feet. Boling made sure every step he took was going to get him closer to his competitors. He did that quickly and efficiently.

As the sprinters came off the final bend, Boling was within striking distance. In what felt like a blink of an eye, the spectators who were gathered at the University of Texas witnessed the fastest man in the country overtake DeSoto in the last 30m.

Boling clocked a 44.74 split to bring Strake Jesuit to victory with a 3:10.56, which stood as the third-fastest relay team in the country that year.

Boling also sprinted a 10.13 (+1.3) to win the 100m and leaped 25-04.50 (+2.2) to grab two more individual titles his senior year. The standout sprinter is currently Georgia Bulldog senior.
