WATCH: Shawnti Jackson Debuts At Penn At 200m


PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- Shawnti Jackson opened up her spring season's 200 meter account on Saturday at The Penn Relays, winning an Olympic Development women's race in a time of 23.11 seconds (-1.7). 

The North Carolina native, who is coming off a stellar indoor season that saw her break 23 seconds at the distance twice, was running at The Penn Relays for the first time in her career. 

Jackson, a South Granville High School senior who qualified for the World U20 Championships in August and won a gold medal on the 4x400, opened her season last week with a time of 52.13 seconds in the 400m.
