The elite boys 5K didn't disappoint on Saturday at the Texas Distance Festival.
Led by Austin Vandegrift's Kevin Sanchez, a Texas state cross country champion and Notre Dame signee, three boys went under 14:30 and a total of 15 went under 15 minutes.
Sanchez set a new career best on the track in 14:21.64, while McAllen Memorial's Ayden Granados went 14:28.21 and Lubbock Coronado's Adam Burlison went 14:28.40.
