VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. -- Newly crowned national 60m champion Brianna Selby, coming off a win at New Balance Nationals Indoor -- where she went 7.27, 7.28 and 7.30 in succession -- cruised in the prelims at adidas Track Nationals on Friday, clocking a 7.35 to move on to the semifinals.
The Indian River High School junior is fast becoming one of the can't-miss track prospects in the U.S., which mind-bending speed over the runway.
She'll return to the Virginia Beach Sports Center on Saturday.
