On the latest episode of MileSplit's Inside Events series, we go Inside Throws to analyze how Livingston's (NJ) Jessica Oji has developed into one of the top girls shot put athletes this indoor season, and one of the top sophomores in U.S. indoor event history.
Oji has gone undefeated so far this season and marked a PR of 47-2.25 to lead New Jersey and rank among the top 15 in state history.
And if you look at her resume compared to those on the 10th-grade all-time list, she sits near the top of the leaderboards.
Oji will look to continue her dominance this weekend in her first-ever championship competition at NSAF Indoor Nationals.
