The two-day Florida/Georgia Challenge in Gainesville ended on Sunday in thrilling fashion.

Montverde Academy threw down the hammer in the boys 4x400m with a US No. 1 3:15.31 to win the final event of the elite invitational.

The team comprised of Zyaire Nuriddin, Issam Asinga, Micah Larry and Javien Greene -- in that order -- all competing after dominating the individual sprint events earlier in the day and on Saturday.

That gives the squad from Orlando, Fla. the sixth-fastest performance in U.S. high school indoor history.

And the teams that came in behind them impressed, too. The IMG Academy "A" team crossed in 3:16.55 for second place, which ranks among the top 20 performances in history.

But it wasn't just the Montverde boys that impressed in the final track events of the day. The team's girls 4x400m relay team also put down a US No. 1 time of 3:48.89 to close out the girls races.
