When you're the best to have ever done it, sometimes the conversation around legacy is based around more than just individual merit. 

That certainly rings true for Olympic pole vault champion Mondo Duplantis, who set a litany of all-time marks in Louisiana and currently owns the indoor and outdoor world records in the event. 

But in what way? We have a simple question that we want to see if we can answer: Just how much did Duplantis influence prep vaulting when he was in high school? How much has his influence carried since then? 

It's been five years since he last suited up in a Lafayette High School uniform, and much has changed since then.
