It takes a special kind of athlete to be able to be dominant in both vertical and horizontal jumps.
Sterling Weldon of Nolensville (TN) has already cleared 6-0.75 in the high jump and leaped to 23-7.5 in the long this indoor season at the KYA HS Indoor Classic. His long jump performance puts him at No. 10 on the US leaderboard.
On the girls side, Juliette Laracuente-Huebner of Mar. Highland (OH) has been making big strides this indoor season. The University of Cincinnati commit leaped to 5-9 and 20-3.75 at the beginning of her season. Her performances put her as US No. 3 in both events.
