Carlmelo Martin made big moves on Saturday.
The Boiling Springs (SC) senior, the third-fastest returner at 60m in his home state of South Carolina entering 2023, surged out of the blocks in the finals of the 60m at the Gamecock Youth Indoor Challenge on Saturday in Columbia and clocked an all-time best.
The East Carolina University signee registered a U.S. No. 3 time of 6.76 seconds.
On top of that, the performance marked an improvement of two-tenths for Martin year-over-year.
