Editor's Note: We began our final national rankings with the conclusion of Team Nationals. We did not, however, close our year-end with an exact carbon copy of the national final. While the Portland race featured many of the country's best teams, it did not feature all of them. One team chose to race elsewhere. Another was not chosen for an at-large bid. Some ranked teams did not run well in the final race, even though their seasons largely showed their excellence across their regular and state postseasons. Others had great days. We ranked based on these factors, along with data provided by Speed Ratings.
