Nationally-Ranked Cherry Creek Girls Set For RunningLane



The Cherry Creek (CO) High School girls, the 19th-ranked girls team in the U.S. based on the latest MileSplit50 national poll, is officially confirmed for the Garmin RunningLane Cross Country Championships. 

Fresh off a fourth-place finish at the Colorado Class 5A Championships, just behind No. 11 Air Academy, Mountain Vista and No. 10 Valor Christian, the Bruins feature a tantalizing amount of depth and versatility, from emerging freshman Emily Cohen -- she was 10th on Saturday in the Class 5A state championships -- to sophomore Kinley Wolfe and seniors Addison Price and Catalina Aguilar-Rosenthall

The Colorado program, a consistent high-performer in the state's high classification, are an elite squad capable of a top finish. 

The Bruins competed in the 2021 installment of the Garmin RunningLane XC Championships and finished fifth overall, led by Stanford recruit Riley Stewart. 

Registration is still open for the 2022 race.
